{"id":2074,"date":"2022-12-05T14:53:49","date_gmt":"2022-12-05T18:53:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.viewworld.org\/?p=2074"},"modified":"2022-12-05T14:53:51","modified_gmt":"2022-12-05T18:53:51","slug":"german-governor-quits-twitter-scholz-still-mulling-options","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.viewworld.org\/?p=2074","title":{"rendered":"German governor quits Twitter, Scholz still mulling options"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>BERLIN (AP) \u2014 The governor of Germany\u2019s state of Lower Saxony said Monday he is quitting Twitter because the microblogging site is increasingly being used to spread \u201chatred and incitement.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experts have\u00a0warned of a rise in anti-semitic vitriol\u00a0if Twitter\u2019s new CEO Elon Musk grants \u201camnesty\u201d to suspended accounts.
